What is the Meaning of Success

Most of us spend our entire lives looking for success. But what is success? For sure it’s different things to different people: what is success to you?

A man who has spent his life just scraping by will list making money as one of the parameters of success.

A woman who has been overweight most of her lie will list being thin as one of the parameters of success.

Anyone who can’t read or write will list learning those skills as a major parameter of success.

A student will list the ultimate goal of a doctoral degree as a parameter of success.

See what I mean? Widely differing goals but they’re all equally fantastic to different people. And there are as many goals as there are people.

I’m certain that you have more than one goal in life. For most, making money and getting married and settling down are major goals in their life. But a minority of human beings don’t want to be part of the status quo. They want to be exceptionally successful.
